Brittany grew up in San Antonio, Texas and absolutely LOVES it! She is one of four kids and if you ask her, she’s the favorite child and the favorite aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Although a native Texan, she graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in April 2011. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Department of Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism.
As a student, Brittany participated in the production of a 50-minute documentary film entitled “I Am Not My Body.” The project took her to Romania where she served as its lead reporter. It was one of many stories she believes changed her life. In 2012, the documentary was awarded at the College Television Awards.
Brittany traveled back to the Lone Star State shortly after college graduation where she worked as a Weekday Morning Anchor/Reporter at KAUZ-TV Newschannel 6, the CBS affiliate, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She worked in Texoma for two years.
From one Wichita to another, they say… Brittany currently works as the lead Investigative Reporter/Fill-In Anchor at KSNW-TV News Channel 3, the NBC affiliate, in Wichita, Kansas. She has been living and working in Kansas since March 2014.
Brittany is passionate about investigative journalism, she is passionate about storytelling, and perhaps most of all, she is passionate about people.
